Own a piece of history. Crafted from the historic Garden House Live Oak at Drayton Hall, each one is unique. The result is a one-of-a kind beautifully crafted piece of history guaranteed to become a family heirloom.

Locally made in Charleston, South Carolina by artist Hannah Robinson, this table comes from one of the larger branches of the historic garden oak.  The artist chose to fill the voids with clear resin.  The bowed shape of Live Oak branches like this one is the reason that shipwrights chose to use them for boatmaking, the natural curvature of these massive branches were used for the curved parts of the boats and the live oak's extreme density made the ships strong so that it could withstand heavy pressure from the wind and waves.
