Callie's always uses the finest ingredients in all of its products. Gluten-free flour joins the usual lineup of buttermilk and cream cheese to create amazingly gluten-free biscuits. Biscuit lovers will swear these fluffy biscuits are the real deal. These sandwich-sized biscuits can be served with a pat of butter, fried chicken, or a favorite jam from the Drayton Hall Pantry.
These gluten-free biscuits are fully baked, then frozen, and ready to ship straight to the customer's door. They can be stored in the freezer until it is time to easily reheat a gluten-free meal or a savory snack. Gluten-Free Testing: The packaged Gluten-Free Buttermilk Biscuit Mix has been tested at Clemson Food, Nutrition, and Packaging Sciences and indicated the negative presence of gluten. This result does not indicate that the product contains zero gluten, but if present, it contains less than 10 ppm of gluten. The Food and Drug Administration states that products can be labeled as “gluten-free” if they contain less than 20 ppm of gluten.
Allergy Warning: If individuals have celiac disease or are very sensitive to gluten, Callie's advises against the consumption of this product. While these biscuits are produced with gluten-free flour, the Callie's Hot Little Biscuit bakery is NOT certified gluten-free. The facilities still handle wheat products.
