From the Drayton Hall Collection comes a selection of custom notecards by local Charleston artist Barbara Beach. Barbara works mainly with watercolor and finds endless inspiration in the lowcountry and it's surroundings.
Cranes & Mosquito in watercolor is inspired by a set of teawares unique to Drayton Hall and likely special ordered by John Drayton in the 1740s.These Chinese-export porcelains feature what is likely a Sandhill Crane, a native North American bird.

Drayton Hall's main house and landscape are open to the public weekly Wednesday through Monday from 9 am to 5:00 pm (gate closes at 3:30 pm). CLOSED on Tuesdays. The gate will accept no cash transactions.
