Featuring the lovely design from a set of Chinese-export porcelain plates that descended in the Drayton family, this beautiful and sturdy glass paperweight is a lovely addition to your home office or to grace your coffee table.
The floral plates are decorated with opaque enamels, incorporating a much brighter palette of colors than the earlier 18th century translucent enamels. This color palette is now referred to as "famille rose" and highlights the addition of the vibrant pink hue found in the petals of the large central flower.

Drayton Hall's main house and landscape are open to the public weekly Wednesday through Monday from 9 am to 5:00 pm (gate closes at 3:30 pm). CLOSED on Tuesdays. The gate will accept no cash transactions.
