From the Drayton Hall Collection comes a selection of custom notecards by local Charleston artist Barbara Beach. Barbara works mainly with watercolor and finds endless inspiration in the lowcountry and it's surroundings.
Crab & Coin in watercolor is inspired by a Chinese-export porcelain plate in the Drayton Hall Collection. This pattern was a popular choice by English colonists in the 18th century; in Chinese culture, this pattern represented the wish for wealth and high status.
