Own a piece of Charleston’s history. Crafted from the historic Garden House Live Oak at Drayton Hall, this handcrafted table is truly one of a kind. Each piece preserves the beauty and character of the centuries-old live oak—creating a timeless heirloom for generations to come.
Made in Charleston, South Carolina by artist Hannah Robinson, this design is both elegant and contemporary. A lighter wood filler highlights the natural curls and voids of the live oak, while darker grain lines and wave-like patterns tell the story of the Ashley River winds that shaped this tree over time. No other wood curves quite like live oak—it is a Southern icon and a symbol of strength and grace.
The table’s legs feature a modern technique called Fractal Burning, where electric current burns intricate, lightning-like patterns into the wood. Finished in a matte water-based sealant, the piece has a warm, organic tone and a sleek, modern silhouette. The legs easily unscrew for convenient transportation.
