Recreated from an original tile from the fire boxes of Drayton Hall, this pattern is unusual in its repeating motif, known as Bloemruitjes (flower and diamond). This tile pattern is a rare archaeological find and may be the only example of this decorative motif found in North America. The fire boxes were once tiled completely in hand-painted delft tiles such as this. An elegant reminder of a visit to Drayton Hall.
